You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as "work at home" because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Ask for more hours at your current job. Online jobs are 99.9% scams, so stay away from there. Maybe fast food or retail, but the job market is horrible. Tutoring, babysitting, pet sitting?

It’s for my coursework. What sort of distractions do you have when working at home. I’ll appreciate anything as long as it’s relevant. A good well written paragraph earns you a star
When trying to get something accomplished at home, there are many possible distractions. The temptation to raid the kitchen for snacks is one. Munching on cookies or chips and sipping at coffee or a soda takes my mind off what I should be doing. Having my family around doing what they do is another major distraction. They need not be doing anything really strange or loud or active, but having them go about their lives attracts my attention away from the job at hand. Absolutely the worst distraction at home is the telephone. I know my friends and the telephone solicitors don’t know that I’m doing taxes or whatever, but it seems that way, and it is usually the case that nobody else will pick up the phone, and I have elderly parents, so I can’t just ignore the ringing.

I hope I can put this one on my refrigerator next to the picture I drew of my dog.
